Your driver-guide collects you from your hotel. The tour leads south to Botany Bay and then to Royal National Park with its breathtaking views over the Southern Highlands. Along rugged cliffs, endless beaches and over the 665 metre long Sea Cliff Bridge the “Grand Pacific Drive” is winding down the coast to Wollongong. Pass Lake Illawarra on your way to Minnamurra Rainforest, where you will enjoy the informative stroll on the boardwalk. Drive to Jamberoo and enjoy lunch in a relaxing atmosphere at the historic pub.
In the afternoon take in the rainforest on a 500 metre long stroll along the Tree Top Walk atop the escarpment, and from the 45 metre high “Illawarra Fly Top” lookout you will have a stunning view of the South Coast. Continue your tour to Berrima, the historic village in the Southern Highlands. You have the opportunity to enjoy afternoon tea (own expense) and walk through the village with its interesting local craft shops. Pass Mittagong on the Hume Freeway and arrive back at your hotel in Sydney in late afternoon.
