3 day tour to the most popular national parks in the Top End: Litchfield, Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge) and Kakadu, made famous in the movie „Crocodile Dundee“. Wilderness areas with waterfalls, savannah rainforest, billabongs and sandstone cliffs.
Day 1: Litchfield National Park - Katherine
Our driver-guide picks you up from your hotel in Darwin. Drive via Berry Springs to Litchfield National Park with its tall termite mounts. Have a swim at Wangi Falls and visit Florence Falls. Travel via Adelaide River and the historic gold mining town Pine Creek to Edith Falls for a walk and swim in the cascades. Arrive at your accommodation in Katherine late in the afternoon.

Day 2: Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge) - Kakadu National Park
After breakfast head for Nitmiluk National Park. Today you will enjoy a 2 hrs boat cruise through the spectaculare Katherine Gorge. Continue your trip to Kakadu National Park. Cross South Alligator River and Jim Jim Creek to arrive at Cooinda. Visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Centre.
At sunset participate in a boat safari on Yellow Water Billabong, a lagoon covered in water lillies. Take in the exotic birdlife and with luck you are able to observe saltwater crocodiles.

3. Tag: Kakadu Nationalpark - Darwin
Early departure today for a walk at Nourlangie Rock with its fascinating Aboriginal cave paintings. A visit to the Bowali Visitor Centre is followed by a drive to Ubirr Rock at the East Alligator River. Discover more rock paintings and learn about Aboriginal culture while enjoying the view over the swamp. After brief stops at the nature centre „Windows of the Wetlands“ and the six metre tall magnetic anthills you will arrive back in Darwin at sunset. Hotel transfers and end of tour. B
